Description

IPL Plutone PU is a transparent ether-based TPU hose reinforced with an AISI 302 stainless steel spiral, designed for demanding suction and transfer applications in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

The hose features a completely smooth internal and external surface to enhance flow properties and allow easy cleaning and sterilisation processes. The extruded low-porosity TPU wall reduces permeation and preserves the organoleptic properties of the media transferred. It is highly neutral in taste and odour.

Plutone PU offers excellent resistance to microbes and hydrolysis, very good chemical resistance to acids and alkaline solutions, and strong resistance to oils and fats under normal operating conditions. The curing-free TPU construction eliminates the risk of leaching curing agent residues into the end product.

The hose can be made conductive (R<102 Ohm/m) by grounding the stainless steel spiral.
