Maintain Your Hose Fleet
Why fork out for a brand new hose assembly when it could simply be a faulty end, kinked hose or abrasive wear? We can identify these problems for you and provide low cost solutions, such as reusing and reconditioning your old ends or shortening your hoses which removes any kinks and wear.
When a hose comes back for service it is typically checked for:
- Wear and Tear Assessment: Thoroughly inspect the hose for any signs of wear and tear. This includes scrutinizing the outer surface, inner lining, and any reinforcement layers to identify potential vulnerabilities or damage.
- End Connection Evaluation: We pay special attention to the end connections of the hose, such as Unicone tails, Storz ends, or BSP fittings. We must ensure they meet specific tolerances and are fit for safe and reliable use.
- Electrical Continuity: We examine the hose to verify its electrical continuity, ensuring that it meets safety standards and requirements.
If the hose successfully passes the previous inspections, it proceeds to our specialised air pressure test bed. Here, the hose is subjected to increased air pressure according to the customer's requirements. This test ensures that the hose can withstand the designated pressure and meets the necessary performance standards. Our goal is to provide you with a fully functional and reliable hose, ready to perform optimally in your industrial operations.
